GMP School Engagement Programme

Dear Parent/Carer

Greater Manchester Police (GMP), Salford District, in partnership with Salford City Council, have recently launched a police Schools Engagement Officer programme aimed at developing closer relationships between schools and the police as well as supporting GMP locally develop stronger community and youth engagement.

The six schools currently involved in this programme are:
Harrop Fold High School, Co-op Academy Swinton, Co-op Academy Walkden, The Albion Academy, Oasis Academy and Buile Hill Academy

For further information about this work please speak with a member of school staff.

Your child may be invited to participate in one of the engagement activities happening within school. If you do not want your child to be involved please contact your child’s Year Manager:
Year 7 – Mrs Mooney
Year 8 & 9 – Mrs Howarth
Year 10 & 11 – Mr Bowcott
