Important parent/carer information : SIMS Parent App

If you haven’t already downloaded/set up our new SIMS Parent App for your child please could you take a look at the instructions below and ensure you are all set up as soon as possible.

It is important you are registered and set up on the new App as this is where we will now upload your child’s termly report.

SIMS Parent App is an online system which you can access either as an App from a smartphone or tablet, or online via a website – anytime, anywhere. SIMS Parent App and website will allow you to monitor your child’s progress in school more closely than ever before.

You will shortly receive a registration email from which will contain a unique invitation code. You will need this code to set up your SIMS Online Services account. Please check your spam/junk mailbox if the email does not appear in your inbox. Please note, the invitation code in the email is unique to you and should not be used by anyone else. The invitation email will expire after 14 days if it is not used, please contact school if you require a replacement after this time period.

You can sign in with your existing email address using any of the following platforms: Facebook, Twitter, Google, Microsoft/Office 365 (so that you don’t have to remember another set of user names and passwords!). If you do not have an account with any of these providers you can still create a Microsoft or Google account here using your existing email address. Parents/carers will need to ensure that we have a current e-mail address on our school system so that you can be notified when reports are available to view.

SIMS Parent will allow us to share lots of essential information with you, such as:

  • Daily attendance
  • Behaviour and achievement summary
  • School reports
  • You can even view your child’s Data Collection Sheet and request updates to the information eg; address, telephone numbers etc

SIMS Parent will be our primary method of communication with parents/carers moving forward. It is important that you register yourself to ensure you don’t miss any important news!

IMPORTANT: After the half-term break, from Monday 2 November, we will no longer continue to use our old MyEd system to contact you,  nor will we accept messages sent by parents on this app. We ask parents to delete the MyEd app and and set up this new SIMS Parent App. You must ensure that you always inform school of  your most up-to-date email address so we can be sure any important data reaches you.

Getting started with SIMS

  1. You will receive a registration email from containing a unique invitation code. You will need this code to set up your SIMS Online Services account.
  2. Follow the link in the email to be directed to the Sign In page.
  3. Register with a Microsoft, Office 365, Google, Facebook or Twitter account. Click the icon for the relevant third party account and you will be directed to sign in using your existing details.
  4. Once registration has been completed successfully, you will then be able to access your children at this school.

How do I sign in?

Once your registration process is complete, you can either sign in online at: or by downloading the App (App Store or Google Play – search for SIMS Parent) and accessing the information from your smartphone/tablet.
