Mrs Chambers

Assistant Principal

I am the Assistant Principal at Co-op Academy Swinton with responsibility for Personal Development. I believe that personal development is an integral part of a child’s education to ensure they can achieve their full potential.

I qualified as a teacher in 2012 gaining a degree in Religious Education with QTS at the University of Cumbria. Since qualifying, I have been a Head of Year, Teaching and Learning Lead and Head of Social Science. I have a real passion for the Social Sciences as I believe it gives students an insight into a range of thought-provoking themes and develops skills for life.

Leading personal development is something that I am dedicated to as it provides students with the knowledge to make informed decisions, strengthen them personally and become active citizens. I am committed to opening doors to our students and giving them a range of opportunities which stand them in good stead in their future.
