Religious Studies

Our blend of Sociology and Religious Studies guides students in developing empathy for others and uses various thought experiments to develop their character.

Whether they are finding meaning in life, grappling with the existence of suffering or developing respect for those who they do not understand, this subject improves students critical thinking and develops a deeper understanding of human behaviour.

Students will leave with a better respect of those different to them through a deeper knowledge of what drives others and what challenges they face. Students will develop opinions about the actions of others and in doing so develop their own moral code. World Studies (working title) will arm students with a knowledge of poverty, community cohesion, variation of laws and punishments and the courage to stand for their beliefs.
